Week 1: First week of China has been really scary and eye opener for us. It seems/feels weird to see people littering all around. And even weirder to not being able to find any dustbin. I could still remember that all of us got very shock/happy/excited when we saw a rubbish bin along the street and even took out our camera to snap a picture of the rubbish bin!
Was very surprised to see their Black and White board in the class, the way the people live. Amazed at how they help to save the world by charging people 0.30 yuan for a plastic bag. Scared by how oily their food is. Getting use to calling cab drivers SHIFU and sales person FU WU YUAN. Took their bus for the very first time and it was.. pretty okay.
2nd Week: Saw people selling pets outside Toms World for quite a few times. I feel really bad for the pets especially those dogs under the rain. CANT THEY FIND A BETTER WAY TO EARN MONEY?! Celebrated the Lantern Festival in China, but it wasnt as fun on the actual day. No playing with candles, lantern and all.. unlike Singapore
3 gorges trip was awesome! Personally, i feel that the people who created the ‘lift’ for the ship is the best. They did that to control all the ships to prevent any incident from happening. The sceneries are the best damn thing too. I really pity those SHI FU(S) who’s sailing the sampan. 30yuan per trip shared between 6 people?!!! They worked so hard, used up so many energy under the hot sun/freezing weather, earning only 5 yuan? The tour guide gotta be kidding us… All the SHI FU(S) wanted is for their children to study hard and family to be happy. I SALUTE THEM.
Also, from the 3 Gorges trip, i came to know how unreasonable they are. I dont know if its just me, he china man or everyone else in China. Azrn was leaning on to a glass on who knows, the glass broke!!! Azrn didnt even do it on purpose and there’s no sign telling people not to lean on the glass or stuff. At first, i thought that its really kind of them to check if Azrn’s alright, asking if he’s injured. SUDDENLY, a man came out, asking Azrn to compensate for the broken glass. ?!?!?!?!?!?! I THOGHTAZRN SHOULD BE THE ONE ASKING FOR COMPENSAtION SINCE THERE ISNT ANY SIGN OR WARNING? Ended up, he had to pay half of the amount.
3rd Week: Life’s good in China. Went to Wu Dang Shan during the China’s Nation Day break. Up till now, im still wondering how do they build all the steps there? I hate those JIAO ZI because apparently we have to give way to them if not, they’ll just knock onto you. Another thing is that.. Is there any ambulance up the mountain or in the middle of the mountain? What if the people fall off the mountain? (hehe just went to google and couldnt find any incidents)
I really like how the people would sit outside their shop/house playing cards, smoking, chit chatting. How i wish i can be like them..
4th Week: I realized how realistic people can be. We went into a shop wanting to buy some stuff and the FU WU YUAN is serving 2 others caucasian. So when we question the fu wu yuan something, she told us not to bother her and stuff. She should at least answer us or say something nice rather than that right.
Lu shan trip!!!! The weather is really cold. I wonder how do the people survive in there. The fountain, mountain, sceneries are really nice
I like how they think of new ways to earn more money such as the ducky rides 10 mins for 15 yuan, telescope for 2 yuan, photo shot and all.
5th week: Do we really sound like we’re from Guang Dong? Do we really look like we’re from Korea? Hahaha last week of China. Their karaoke rocks as much as Singapore’s. Or maybe thats the best karaoke in China 8) The people in China always go out early and comes home early. Apparently, there will be very little people along the street after 10pm and most of the shop will be close by 930.
Saw a fight between some foreigners. A girl went to beat up another girl and the guys didnt even stop them. No police cars and nobody went to stop them. If its in Singapore, things will be different i guess.
HI ITS OUR LAST NIGHT IN CHINA
I AM SO SAD THAT I WANNA CRY :’(
Because I am going to miss a lot of things here. Like, the people, the neighbors, the food and many many many many many many more! China isn’t so bad on the overall. SO, we went to take photos and eat all the food we liked here. For example, the fried chicken which i refrained myself from eating for a long time, because of my cough which isn’t healed yet, after the 38472893 types of medicine i ate. but who cares, it’s the last week already right?
Celebrated Broderick’s birthday on 10th october. Everything went well as planned
Was cutting the cake for everybody and suddenly, there’s cakes flying all around. THE WHOLE PLACE IS IN A BIG MESS AND ChAOTIC. So welll… after all the cake smashing, we have to clean out the whole place which consist of Broderick’s room, 8th floor corridor, 12th floor corridor and the stairs from 8th – 12th floor. CLEANING CAN BE FUN TOO YOU KNOW!!!! After that, all of us got crazy and wanted to play in the rain. UNFORTUNATELY, THE RAIN STOPS :’( SOB 4008517517 for supper!!!
11th oct: Srcipt Writing in the morning and after that, went for our last field trip to the yellow crane! The place is really nice (as usual) Saw an old man and old woman using a big wet brush to write on the floor. COOL OR WHAT! Wanted to go to Jiang Han for shopping but all of us decided not to cos there’s a test tomorrow. hahaha SILENT NIGHT!!!! everyone’s busy studying for their test and its so quiet outside….
12 oct: SCRIPT WRITING TEST then IS. Went to the Art School in Huang Zhong. Everything inside is so modern and nice
The lady showed us the games which they created but i dont really understand whats going on though. Slit into 3 different groups which have Graphic Design, Maya and Character Development. Wanted to go for character development at first but there’s so many people. So went for the Graphic Design instead. Plan to go back to hankou for some shopping. but plan failed cos its raining. TOMS WORLD FOR ARCADE AND OVERNIGHT KTV till 6am. ITS FUN + CRAZY + SLEEPY. ITS THE BEST DAMN THING PARTIALLY BECAUSE YOU ONLY HAVE TO PAY FOR 2 HOURS AND GET 7 HOURS FREE.
13 oct: Was supposed to wake up at 7 plus to attend the graphic design lesson. Decided not to go cos i juuuust couldn’t drag my ass off the bed. IS lesson @ 10 and apparently 3/4 of the people isnt listening. I really wonder what will the teacher be thinking/feeling when she see 3/4 of the students sleeping. Its like.. nobody is listening to her. I cant help but to feel bad
whats the shittest thing is that… i fell asleep on that day too :’( Sorrry after which, rolled over to the supermart beside computer town to get some yummy foods. BOUGHT MY ZI RAN TOO : ) wanted to go to han kou but plan failed again cos its raining :’( so cabbed to guang gu for shopping again.
14 oct: IS early in the morning and then graduation!!!! : ) my next graduation will be like… 3 years later. After the graduation, went to the canteen for lunch. GOOD OLD DAYS… we went to the canteen for welcoming lunch on the 3rd the in Wuhan, and now.. we’re going back again for our farewell lunch. SOB
cabbed to guang gu with michy and xin after that to get some fluffy toys
Flew back to dorm, do work, sleep and left for YUMMY SPICY CHICKEN!!!! then to toms world. OUR LAST NIGHT IN THE ARCADE
ALL OF US WENT CRAZY OUTSIDE CHICONY. TOOK LOTSA PICTURES AND PLAYED ICE MAN/CATCHING THERE. ROCKKKKKKKS!!
15 oct: Didnt sleep for the whole night AGAIN. Michy and Xin came over to my room to pack my luggage for me!! love them much
they took out everything in the luggage and repack again, just like what my mom did. BLOCK CATCHING AFTER THAT
Early in the morning, went down to get our last milk tea in Wuhan. I’ll miss the Auntie and the little kitten a lot
Took an hour plus ride to the airport and check in. Reached guang zhou, my camera + mac dropped on the floor. lens broke and flight delay

Recently, the whole class got so addicted to the Arcade because its CHEAP and FUN. Had 2 Kbox sessions so far and the place is awesome! I think it’s the best karaoke in China. Hehe went at 11pm last night and left at 6am!!! TOTALLY CRAZY.
Hahaha can still remember our first few days in China. Everyone is so afraid of being alone + our belongings. BUT NOW, nobody actually give a damn anymore. The food here is really nice and yummy. I’LL MISS THE KFC HERE A LOT
LU SHAN
October 9, 2010
HI!!!!
Lu Shan trip is awesome because everyone went for it and the scenery is really nice! J BUT!!!!!!! The weather sucks a little though because its extremely cold that I think im turning into ice. Azrn suddenly got a seizure when we’re at the entrance of Lu Shan. I swear it totally scare the shit outta me. Glad that he’s okay after awhile. Went to a famous fountain and guess what. ONE OF MY LEG FELL INTO THE RIVER AND MY WHOLE LEG GOT FREAKING WET. SOB :’( BUT WHO CARES, IM GOING TO LIVE TILL 99 YEARS J OK head to our Hotel after that. LOVE THE HOTEL!! Again, much more better than expected. Had dinner and walked around the shopping place. THE STARS IN LU SHAN ROCKS!!!!
Brrrrrrr… Why is it so cold in the morning!!! Museum trip + walking around the mountain for today!! Oh and I touched the lucky stone
LAST DAY IN LU SHAN!! Packed our stuff and put it into the bus. Took the guan guang bus up to the mountain and we had to walk down. Stopped at a fountain and I pair up with HuiXin and sat on the oh-my-god-so-cute DUCKY!!!!! IT WAS REALLY REALLY FUN. After that, continue climbing down the mountain. Left the place immediately when we’re down. ITS GONNA BE MY LAST MOUNTAN CLIMBING. HI MOUNTAIN, SEE YOU IN ANOTHER 15 YEARS TIME
I LOVE ALL THE SCENERIES.
OMG MOUNTAIN
October 4, 2010
HI GUYS LOL
WU DANG SHAN TOUR FOR 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT.
I’ve never ever walk so much in my whole life before!!!! I guess its gonna be my first and the last. I HOPE WE’RE NOT GONNA WALK AS MUCH IN LU SHAN.
Cab over to some hotel to take the bus to Wu Dang. Worst ride ever in my whole life. Back in Singapore, we’ll always be going for the last row BUT.. In China, we gotta go for the FIRST few rows. Cause the last row S.U.C.K.S TO THE MAX. Its the worst ride EVER. Had our lunch at some Wild Farm place and it sucks too
It started drizzling when we reached the mountain. Such a waste because we couldnt explore much places and take photos
OH AND TAI ZHONG IS HELL FUNNY. The fortune teller is.. HAHHA time for me to get a table + chair and start my own business
Checked in to our oh-quite-nice-not-so-bad hotel and had our dinner @ the Hotel’s Restaurant
WOKE UP EARLY JUST TO GET THE FRONT SITS. HAHAHA SHOWED THOSE PEOPLE OUR SINGAPOREAN KIA SUNESS BUT.. sadly.. we.. still… lose…. to them :’( hahaha some china peeps told michy off for ‘stealing’ her sit, saying that their rubbish is still there and stuff -.- WhAT A LOSER. OKOK spent like half of our day there climbing the mountain
FEELS DAMN GOOD WHEN WE REACHED THE PEAK. ITS LIKE THE BEST THING EVER. But the thoughts of climbing down the mountain sucks
Still, I think the whole trip is pretty fun + interesting and cool. I LIKE THE SCENERY THERE BUT NOT THE STEPS.
GOTTA SLEEP SOON FOR LU SHAN TMR
NIGHTY
